A gathering explained as an encounter, a creed people can quote, one way in

Lifesmith is a Spirit-led fellowship founded by Tosin Osuntubo, gathering people around worship, prayer, the Word, and community. The Forge is not a service to book, it’s a space to be invited into — so the site had to earn that invitation before it asked for anything.

The client

Lifesmith exists as a sacred space where lives are transformed through worship, prayer, the Word, and fellowship — born, as the founder tells it, not from a plan but from a single instruction to gather. Twenty-two people came to the first one. There was no name yet. The name came later, from Isaiah 64:8.

What the site had to do
  • Read as an encounter, not an event listing — the tone had to match what actually happens in the room
  • Carry the origin story, because a gathering with no agenda needs its authenticity established up front, not asserted
  • Give the values structure without flattening them into a mission-statement wall of text
  • Make the creed stand alone, since it’s the line people will actually remember and repeat
  • One way in — not a signup form, an invitation
What we built
1

The origin story told in sequence — the instruction, the obedience, the twenty-two people, the name given afterward. It reads as testimony, not marketing copy, because that’s what it is.

2

Vision and mission separated into two plain sentences, so the “why” and the “how” don’t compete for the same paragraph.

3

Six pillars — Obedience, Intimacy, Transformation, Community, Service, Excellence — each paired with one scripture, so every value is anchored rather than aspirational.

4

The Lifesmith Creed set apart on its own, short enough to memorise and quote — the identity statement the rest of the page builds toward.

5

One route in. Request an Invite as the standing call to action, framed as a calling rather than a subscription — the same discipline as a single booking route, applied to a fellowship instead of a business.
